I'm too lazy to work it out but does the 47 include Kim, Villegas, Els, Garcia. As much as they are Euro Tour members I more see them PGA Tour players.

There's no doubting though the rise of European Tour players within the World Rankings has been positive in recent years and long may it continue. Having players like Fisher, Wilson and Quiros playing in the WGC is a prime example of the progress made.

Well, how bored was I waiting for the coverage to begin.

Looking at the players taking part this week and assigning them to the tour where they play most of their golf I have it down as the European Tour having a 34% share.

Yes, it depends on the definition of "belonging" to a Tour but sorry Kim and Villegas do not belong to the European Tour. Even going through the list of players who I would loosly say are European Tour players the number I came up with was 40.

Can you list the 47 out of interest?

I think its quite worrying how two of our "big guns" blew up and threw away victory that was easily theirs.

Stenson and Rose both snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Add in Garcia who played the 17th like a 25 handicapper not a world number 2 and Harrington who is clearly out of sorts then its quite worrying.

Fisher and Wilson both did very well but I dont think they are capable of winning the tournament.

Luke Donald and Ian Poulter both look like our best bets, but I fancy Tim Clark to go all the way, starting with a victory over Mr Woods today.
