No doubt thats a good draw for us,but I'm not to optimistic with this manager in charge, after the last tournement where he did'nt seem to have a clue about tactics, team selection,and taking to many old players.

tough draw if you ask me, all capable of beating us on their day (and we are usually pants in comps)

don't know if you watched the draw but we were in the last pot of 4 to be drawn. Group A was the one to be in but obviously Russia got that - very happy to have avoided groups B and C, so getting D is a bit of a result I think.

Ukraine - home crowd or not shouldn't be a problem
France? - isn't rebuilding just another term for currently being rubbish. Of the Germany team that battered us last year, the vast majority of the team had over 50 caps, the younger guys had all stepped up from the under 21 side which had won the Euros in 2009.
Sweden are a bit of a bogie I suppose.

If we can't go through from that group, and it will only need 5 points I reckon then we really are in the brown stuff

Sadly I think we're draw with Ukraine and lose to France and Sweden. Lets be honest Capello is going afterwards so where is the motivation. I hope he uses it to blood a few young faces in preparation for other tournaments and doesn't pick a squad of old stagers

Well Rooneys going to miss the first few games anyway,but I would be happy with the core of the team to be Hart, Cole, Gerrard, Parker,these are quailty players,and if he can play some of the younger players with them who have got alot of pace ,and play with a bit of confidence and not revert to the dull negative performances we've seen in the past then we might have a chance.

Oh yea and make sure he leaves Terry back home.

Seen a piece on the build up to it , them hard core polish fans are bit mental , they have a bloody arsenal of weapons built up to fight with, one quoted as saying nothing like the sound of a mans nose breaking especialy an english mans nose ... gona be a strange competition coz these guys are joining up all the clubs firms for the duration of the finals .. I quiet fancy the dutch to win it

Let's face it, we won't beat Sweden (we haven't for as long as I can remember) and if France win, then England will draw against Ukraine, like USA in 2010.
