I bought a 20° Ping g25 hybrid last year with a stiff shaft and got on really well with it.

So much so, I thought I'd remove my very old 17° Callaway heavenwood and replace it with another g25. So duly ordered one from my pro and have had it for two months.

And haven't been able to get on with it as well as the 20°. I put this down to a swing change I'm working on, until at the range tonight, I noticed something previously unseen... above the words S flex was the word 'TOUR'!

Well, that solves that issue. Phone call to my pro tomorrow!

I have a 17 degree in tour stiff. Absolutely love it. I had a 23 in normal stiff and didn't get on with that at all. I didn't think there could be much difference but obviously must be.

When I did my fitting at Ping HQ I was offered either iirc - main difference is kick-point in shaft and therefore ability to have a higher / lower flight on the ball.
