Remember these popping up a year or two ago, did anyone go with one?
Doesn't tell you what the machines are actually measuring, rather than calculating. Unless I missed it?
I would be very suspicious of anything that doesn't actually measure launch angle, ball speed and spin.
I'd love a launch monitor, but the compromises are too great on all the "consumer" ones I've seen.Me too, hence not owning one.....

I'd rather have no data than bad data...
Get what you pay for I suppose, but I can't justify the outlay on a GC2 or a flightscope.
You can already import them for half the price on eBay. It's alright, nothing special. It's unreliable picking up shots and makes no adjustments for range balls so had little use for meI've owned a ES12 and Flightscope Xi+ and considering the price difference of nearly 20 times less, the ES12 was pretty good for distance measurements.
A few caveats;
You have to strike it well. It measures ball speed and calculates everything else IIRC.
If you are just wanting to get solid numbers on club gapping and work on short game control, its pretty darn good. The rest of the data take with a pinch of sale really. Not sure on the ES14, but assuming its a bit more accurate...?
This is due out soon which is being heralded as the first proper consumer doppler LM to be any good, from what I've read. Here's just one link to info - http://www.golfalot.com/equipment-news/voice-caddie-swing-caddie-sc200-launch-monitor-3276.aspx
I do see a lot of comments around this subject of people wanting accurate launch, spin, dynamic loft blah blah all for a few hundred quid - but really what are you going to do with those numbers if you don't want to invest in something that gives them accurately. IMO peeps are best off, if interested in numbers to improve your game, knowing distance of each club for a swing type. Then you can improve long:short dispersion which is most ammeter golfer nemesis!
Seems I opened a can of worms

True, but it seems from the link above there is much variation amongst models and makes, 16% out is a big amount
