This will be the 112 meeting between the two teams with 46 wins for England , Last time out last year it was a 3-2 win for England and then you have to go back to 1999 for the next 2 games

Well the scots are in form and up for it so it will not be easy game , by no means a friendly match .............scots will give England a run for their money and it will be a win by 1 goal , who will that be , my heart says one team and my head says another , all comments re the game tonight on here please :):thup::thup:

I love wee Gordon.

Fraser Fosters says the Scots will be intimidating and play a robust game.

Wee Gordy laughs and says half of the Scots team are 5'6''.

It's only a friendly so the result is unimportant.......honest.

After the resent past and England playing truly dull uninspired football I'm hopeing they might show a bit more passion against the jocks, but Iam not convinced, much as it pains me to say but think the Scots might win in a close game.

I'm guessing it will be mostly B teams out and it will be a bit like the Premiership, i.e. lots of hustle, bustle, commitment and excitement if you are into that kind of football, but low on technical ability as there's no foreigners to bail the home grown players out.

And you will always have the nagging voice in the back of your head telling you that if the teams come up against any decent teams in a major championship finals they will lose. Scotland probably more heroically than England having given it the best shot they can, but still lose.

I think the Scots will win this , i think they are a more honest bunch of lads and will be up for it and some of the millionaires wont be fancying it ..

Didnt see much of the IRL V SCO game but by all accounts they were good value for the win and the goal tho some may say was bad defending IMO was pure class ...
Scotland 2-0/2-1

I think Scotland will win. Will be a real hostile atmosphere at Parkhead, not long after the independence vote etc and England just look so mediocre.

Both teams aren't exactly brimming with talent tbh, I'd say England might be better on paper and would be expected to win, but...........wee Chesney seems to be getting more out of his players than Roy is and that makes me think Scotland might just sneak it 2-1.

Although, having said that, Scotland are past masters at giving their fans genuine hope only for it to fall apart, so who knows.

Edit: I should add I couldn't give a monkeys who wins though.

Not going to make a prediction as such but, from what I've been listening to and reading, I feel that the Scots almost want to win this too much and will almost be trying too hard.
That could work in England's favour.
England should have enough but I wouldn't put it past them to mess it up

I hope and think Scotland might just win, but the bookies odds are against that. I hope its a good game with very little trouble

Then maybe it could become a annual or bi annual event again, i remember Scottish fans use to save all year to go to Wembley.

England should beat us really, I know we've improved but they have the better players.

Looking forward to it though, think we can give them more of a game now than for a long time....

Think England have the better players but the Scots will have a better team spirit ,and you only have to look at some of the so called lesser teams in the last World Cup to see how teams playing for each other and the right spirit can perform well.

Will England have the same mentality playing the Scots as they had in the past ? If they don't they will lose ,and Iam sure the Scots will have the same desire to beat the English as they have ever done.

Oh well, the tranny army excell themselves by booing the national anthem then finishing the dirge that is Flower of Scotland before the pipes have.

Why can't they learn to keep time wae the bloody music!

Hope the boos have stirred up the England team. Can't see anything other than an England win, then seeing wee Gordon Strachan at my local Sainsburys to give him a bit of stick!!
