embedded video wont show on iPad

Not 100% sure but with some videos when uploaded to utoobe you have to select an option to allow viewing on mobile devices (I am in no way certain of this!!)

DV - might just be at my end but when Bob or James put up a vid I can view it - yours don't load...
:mmm:

thats interesting, I only do it the way thefatcontroller told me to, ie click the 'insert video' symbol and add the link, I couldnt get it working any other way.

Imurg, I assume you mean you see their embedded videos on an iPad with no problem?

Assuming the embedded videos that have been viewable on iPad/iPhone are using the same YT code (i.e. short form URL) then I can only assume the individual iPad/iPhone are either Flash enabled or not. Not being an iThing user i don't know if the eary aversion to Adobe/Flash products was resolved by Apple.

Beyond that, the coding of the forum is outside my remit and one for the IPC developers.

However, if one has problems viewing the videos on-forum, clicking on 'Reply With Quote' will, at least, give you the URL to copy and paste to view - assuming viewing on the YT site is not also problematic. Not ideal, I know, but a work-a-round nonetheless.

Incidentally, out of curiosity, is the site/forum being viewed the full scale site or the mobile version when these issues arise?
