Whats the best trolley on the market currently guys?/

Considering- Price, Performance and Reliablity??

For me the Motocaddy S1,Great trolley and ticks all the boxes

Thoughts?
:)

Any thing other than Hillbilly. Mine's a pile of noisy junk.

Only a matter of time before the plastic pig gets recommended.......

Terrain, same as yours.

Any one who has played with me will know that my trolley moans and grumbles the whole 18 holes, and that pretty much started after 3 months of ownership.

The rivets that hold the main hinge together have snapped twice, and been repaired by a Hillbilly approved repairer. Given that the rivets cost 2p each (max), and you can get loads in a very small box, they had none in stock, got a box in (5 week wait), and within a month, were out of stock again. Hillbilly can't just send me spare rivets, for health and safety reasons??

Next time it goes, wing nut and araldite.

I also find the main hinge arrangement is not as rigid as I would like, and preferred the PK I had on test at beau.

There is next to no mud clearance for the front wheel. This is very poor. I carry a spatula to stop the wheel from jamming with mud. If I ever buy a new trolley, mud clearance will be at the top of my list.

Apart from that, it isn't bad.

Just brought a Hillman cruiser, prompt delivery, and it looks a very sturdy trolly (German made I think) but not tried it yet.Had a Powercaddy freeway before and had alot of problems with it culmanating with the main frame snaping.

Powerbug Sport X.

Does the jobby for me no bother.

Same for me

Great trolley and a very good price as well

Bosh!!

There's your answer, right there.

I've got one of these but don't find it startlingly good. I got mine for a very good price (off ebay, and local so no postage) but I don't think their price new is all that challenging.

The powerbug is a Motocaddy S1 clone, virtually all the same electrics and drive gear on a heavier frame. No service backup outside Reading. (Interestingly some of the common parts can be cheaper from powerbug than from motocaddy)

mud clearance on the front wheel is poor, and did I say it's heavy?

Without doubt the Golfstream Revolution is a stunning piece of well built kit. Not cheap, but engineered well, probably indestructable and opens/closes with one finger its so simple and folds up small. Check it out on You Tube
