Morning team,

considering changing up my trolley and would like peoples opinions on motocaddy and powakaddy...

Build quality and size when folded are main the points.

Also, what are peoples thoughts on lithium batteries...worth it??

many thanks

Motocaddy = poor build quality and hideous customer service once your warranty has expired in my experience. Far better options out there. (Golfstream revolution for me, plenty of others on here swear by GoKart).

Havent gone Lithium yet, historically was too expensive with only a 2 yr warranty (the 5 yr ones arent really that!) getting cheaper and getting better warranties Ill prob go that route next time

HID bought me a Motocaddy M3 as an anniversary present last year. Excellent and with a lithium battery very light. Not sure I'd have got one myself and think Go Kart a better product at a cheaper price and with better customer service going by here (had no need to use Motocaddy's yet so no first hand experience)

I've just bought a M1 pro, first electric trolley I've bought, it was a choice between that and the gokart, 2 things swung it in the m1's favour, firstly it looks so much better (imo) and 2 the usb. Having used it for a month I'm very happy with it, but if the automatic feature on the gokart works as they say, I can see the advantage in that. I still think I made the right choice

5 years with a motocaddy s3 lithium with no problems at all, had to use the customer service once as I thought the screen was malfunctioning (it wasn't, I was pressing the wrong button!) and they were excellent. Sent me a replacement screen, told them I didn't need and they said I should keep it as a spare, still sitting in my drawer.

Motocaddy S3 Pro with lithium, 4 years old and not a problem, had it serviced this season for first time by Motocaddy authorised dealer, cleaned it, checked it, serviced it, no issues, cost £25.00.

Wow that's pretty good. Just got a quote from prorider to service my current trolley and it's £90; includes collection and redelivery.

Went on the motocaddy site and found my nearest service centre via postcode, When I took it in (Wearside GC Pro Shop) he said it was £25.00 minimum, anything needed would cost, but he'd phone me first. Got one call to say it was done, fine and would be £25.00

How about using a push trolley and getting a bit more exercise?

Have had a S1 for 5 years now -got the wiring for the button replaced for a grand total of £6.50 and the service cost £15

Highly recommend the Motocaddy

Go kart just doesnt look right to me despite their superb customer services
