not only new irons, but I'm looking at buying an electric trolley, but as I've never had one I'm completely in the dark!

Budget of around about £200, any advice for a good value for money one would be gratefully received.

Many Thanks

Apparently, there is a make on the 'net which is basicaly a powakaddy under a different name. One of our scratch team players uses it and it's been great for about 1/2 the price. Someone here may know the type. I don't use them, but if battery technology is anything to go buy, I'd be tempted by a good branded name to ensure a replacement battery when it gets a bit old.....as seems to happen with these things.

I got a hillbilly in the spring and find it to be very good , played 27 holes and it was still able to go faster than i can walk . A friend had trouble with the switch on his ( it kept creeping forward) they wanted him to return the trolley which would have cost a fortune in postage ,and they said he could not go in person to the factory .But american golf sorted it no problem.I've been told that Powerkaddy now own hillbilly .check out old threads on this site because its been covered before and i used it to help me decide

I've seen one called GoKart on the web that seems to have some reasonable reports. Has anyone any experience of them?

I own a GoKart and would give it my highest endorsement. Not only is the trolley superb, their customer service is second to none and that is in any area, not just in golf. Give them a call, they are friendly, knowledgeable and really do seem to care about the customer. If there is a fault, they will deliver a replacement to you then take yours away for repair and that is whether they are in warranty or not. They are a truely excellent company.

Hi
I can back up the claims for Go Kart. a friend with health problems has just got one and is very pleased. It's compact and looks very smart - definitely cooler than the average Powakaddy!
He was also impressed with speedy delivery.

motocaddy s1 top quality kit, around the £250 mark. loads of extras as well and just as good as a powercaddy if not better.

Depends on how much golf you play.
If you're a regular 4 -5 times a week player, buy one of the better makes such as Motocaddy/Powakaddy etc.
Alternatively go cheaper if you're a weekend golfer.
I have to admit though, if given the choice, weighing up a £200 Chinese trolley against a £250 Motocaddy S1 I'd stump up the extra £50 and go for the Motocaddy.
