Hi Guys Im sorry my first post on here is so boring but Im hoping someone will be able to help me out and stop me from wasting a lot of money.
I have wanted an electric trolley for sometime as I have a small old knee injury which shows its ugly head sometimes during the later holes of a round of golf and I thought one of these would help.
Initially I was interested in the Motocaddy S3 at £400. Then I saw the remote controlled Powacaddy Robocaddy at £700 which is an awful lot of money for me but the remote control sounds fun.
Then I thought well if im spending that amount there is the Stewart X3R only £300 MORE at £1000 which is reportedly the best trolley on the market.(although worth more than my car !!)
By this time Im sure you will agree I had ventured into the world of stupidness and divorce material if she ever found out I was spending that on a trolley to hold my golf clubs.
My question is has anyone got any recent up to date opinions on any of the three models I have metioned that would help me decide.
Thanks for reading.

Have not got an opinion on any that you mention but there is a GoKart in my household and it is superb. Lightweight, so easy to put up and take down and very light. They are a great company to deal with as well and customer service is second to none. Such a bargain at £199.00. They will even give a full refund if you buy one and do not like it. May not have all the bells and whistles but is a great trolley.

(and no I do not work for them or have any connection to the company)

Don't worry about the missus. Mine has just seen my latest credit card statement and is currently shall we say less than enamoured with me!!!!

I personally can't help as I always carry but rest assured the wise sages on here will point you in the right direction

Can't go wrong with Powakaddy, having tried a cheaper model (not Powakaddy) and found it to be unreliable I am back with the Freeway model which is very good at £350.

Have seen the remote control version and whilst not for me the guy who has it seems to enjoy it.

Don't have any experience of the other brands you mention.

Depends entirely on what you can actually justify spending, for example £700 for the powakaddy because the remote sounds fun is not the best justification, so the s3 or powakaddy freeway may well be better options. If on the other hand you do have the extra money to spend for the extra gimmic go for it and enjoy! Personally If your going from carrying or using a pull/push trolley you may well see enough benefit from a cheaper model such as the powakaddy highway which is very reliable, good looking and very effective for around the £200 mark.

Got the original motocaddy s1 and never once had a problem, very sturdy and still going strong. My double partner bought a cheaper model this year and too be honest it looks cheap as chips!

I also have the Motokaddy S1 and it is great, if yr getting a trolley get the bag that goes with it as well. This stops the annoying twisting that you can get, as it slots on to the trolley and is held in place.

I know alot of guys don't like them, but I swear by it, and it saves lugging the bag round and feeling tired in the later holes.

The umbrella holder is also a very nice gadget, and keeps the clubs dry as well, saves all the hassle and just stays in place, altho my trolley does look abit like a burger stall!

Barney, i bought a PowerBug from ebay for £120 last year and found it great...felt a bit of a fruit at first but after playing a few rounds it occured to me how fresher i felt heading into the last few holes...visit www.powerbug.co.uk for further info...
Let us know how you get on...
