Only 5 apparently according to the press!!

I remember reading an article in one of the mags years ago about a pro who tried all day to get an ace on a shortish par 3 and failed. Hit loads of balls but - no dice.

There is a similar thing in Harvey Pennicks little red book, but the pro only brings a few balls believing it wont take long and he did it within a few shots
