....Or any Barcelona home game. Anyone been?
Is it full of tourists? Considering Theres 100000 fans in there it sounds pretty dull. All you can hear is them jeering RM.

Been to see united 3 times and also a home match v racing Santander fair amount of modern fans, the same As most premiership matches.
The big difference is the open amphitheatre design of the camp nou any noise the is generated goes up into the open air there is a slight delay as it builds when your up in the sky dodging planes but not a great intensity as some places.

Four of us travelled to Barcelona today golf on Wednesday and their were quite a few Man City fans on the flight, they said a ticket would cost about €120 - we decided not to bother

Yes, I used to be a Penà UK member and have been to 3 Gran Classico games (or El Derby - Sky seem to have merged the two names).
Last I was at was in 2006 when Ronaldinho ripped Real apart which included a run from the half way line taking on half the Real team beforeslotting past Casillas.
Great atmosphere, although the first one I went to in 2000 was Figo's first Classico back at Camp Nou, bit hostile.
Also been to a Catalan Derby at both Camp Nou and the old Montjuic. Again, very hostile.
Best for atmosphere IMO is when Sevilla visit, proper party atmosphere.

Some tickets start at €20 it depends on your membership rights and the opposition.
Mate didn't get a ticket for anfield today despite offering £175 so he took a flight to Barca and is at tonight's match.

I've been twice with Liverpool (won one, drawn one):whoo:, and yes the atmosphere is crap.

Its good when they sing their song, but after that it's left to about 2-3,000 ultras who dont make a great racket. The rest just seem to turn up to be entertained.

No Phil you are not alone. I really 1st saw him at Wembley in the Olympics and I feel he just play acts all the time.

I agree. Always seems to be feigning injury and trying to get opposition booked or sent off. Its a nasty trait as he has some skill when he plays. His movement is good and so is his vision but there isn't enough of it over 90 minutes

It does get a bit WWF at times. Would be nice if they all didn't go down like they'd been shot for the slightest contact.
