My mate says apparently it was 44 seconds before the *** commentating managed to mention the fact they were unbeaten at home in a tournament in 1966...jesus only 4 more months of it to suffer mind you it'll only get worse as the muppets will be looking out their car flags etc.

The camel jockeys are the ACN champions for the last three years, and are the only team in the FIFA top ten not going to the WC.

That said, I'm loving this.

Just hope Rooney doesn't spoil it.

As a non english person I think it was a good result for England last night, to beat a team that has come straight from a tournament win is always a difficult thing, they have prepared for the ACN, played in it, and come into the game last night as a united group of players.
England on the other hand are still in the early stages of World cup prep so to beat the best side in Africa is a good result.

A few years ago I was lucky enough to go on a tour of Hampden which included a trip around the Museum of Scottish football. It was very interesting - I learnt all about the old firm and why they are named accordingly, I saw memorabilia from the dawn of footballing time in Scotland and I saw photos and read about the Scottish footballing heros of yesteryear.
For some reason, the whole thing stopped at circa 1998 - I wonder why????

Well said that man :)

You've summed it up nicely Freddielong.

As long as they don't become complacent and take each game as it comes.............. who knows............ :D
