just had this done and it was an eye opener!! its without doubt the best 90 mins I've spent being fitted for ANY golf equipment there is no stone left unturned in an effort to build a bespoke putter in every way, even down to uyour personal paint fill preference, all I need to do now is wait for delivery and hope it works as well as demo one that mirrored my set up did really worth looking into
I ended up with a putter as far removed from anything I've used before in terms of style weight and length you just have to trust the fitter and the results. part of process is putting to a string 15 feet away with my own putter best result was 1 foot long over the string string with the demo putter to my spec, 4 on the string 1 a ball short one 3 balls long!!

So worth it for me.

My putts per round has come down and my long putting is so good now.

THe worst thing about the whole process is the wait.

I loved the whole process of being fitted, was a really interesting few hours.

The putter I got (E-3 maybe, the "blade" one anyway) was very different to what I had before (much heavier, longer, thicker grip, alignment lines all over it) so did take a bit of getting used to. Had it a couple of months now and really like it, I'm much more consistent with it which is exactly what I was looking for. I used to be dreadful at distance control but this has really helped, had so many tap in pars with it where before I would have had at least a few 5/6 footers left.

Would love to have a fitting for one of these, just to go through the process but at +£300 a pop I think I'd better pass. The Mrs would castrate me.

1 - £300

2 - castration

Can't help thinking she'd be the long term loser if she went for 2

Agee don't...great fitting. I was there for just over two hours getting mine done. It's never leaving the bag...I just wish I had gone for silver rather than the black head

I was so tied between silver and black.

Went for silver as i felt it would stand the test of time better. Have you gone off the color i assume it has not marked?

In my fitting I used silver but picked black for my putter. The black is a lot cooler but it might be that silver was a better choice as its not a very strong colour contrast. With the black/white lines and the green, it might be that a less harsh deal would have been less busy on my eye.

Wow take that for an excuse for crap putting....

well you either hit the practise ground and put the work in Alex or try what the majority of others are saying on another thread! Rack n roll

Ive put a whistle in to donate a sarcastic post as the 1% don't understand when I am!

It's more that some of the black has worn off...on the base of the putter, I guess light scratches somehow that have manifested into slightly larger areas of wear
