Afternoon all,

I have one of these devices and was wondering what is the best music download /subscription site for use on mine and 2 other dots around the house?

Cheers

Midnight (now a techno god) but still extremely dim ????

Spotify still seems the best, Amazon music with Prime is ok but doesn't have the catalogue.
Think you can still get a trial period for the premium with Spotify otherwise you can get it free but has adverts.

Why’s that?
Do they not get royalties etc?

I think you'll find that the owners of Spotify are making considerably more than those making the music.

"Spotify pays whoever holds the rights to a song anywhere from $0.006 to $0.0084 per play. The rights “holder” can then split these earning between the record label, producers, artists, and songwriters, which means splitting pennies between many parties."

Ive got Amazon music not Spotify, is the process the same?
Agree on the money they get is poor, how do they get away with it...
I haven’t a clue on these things, just listen to what I like without a second thought.

Honestly don't know about Amazon Music, just came across this with Spotify. Sorry I missed the change in the thread from Spotify to Amazon.

I certainly understand the customer attraction, just having seen how Spotify screw the artists over I swore never to use them.
