Ecco shoes

I have the first version (not Cas Cool II) and in comparison with others are quite heavy. The newer model may be different.

I had a pair of Ecco shoes, not the model your query was about though. Extremely comfortable in the dry but leaked like a sieve in the wet despite the 100% waterproof claims. Now back with Footjoy Dryjoys which were slightly cheaper and have been great and dry.

Ecco shoes are good, some models do take some wearing in though. I had the Ultra Pro's from last season and they had a production fault with the soles splitting, I got an email from them saying not to buy until it had been resolved, unfortunately I thought the time had past but the stockiest i used had old stock.

FJ's are great out of the box, but they wear so quick and look ragged after a few months even with been cleaned after every round, something Ecco shoes I have found don't. I have the SYNR-G's and I was lucky as I got mine for free but they aren't worth £100+, so this season I am going to give the Ecco Ultra 2010 a chance.
