I bought a pair of Biom Hybrid 2's this week and today was my first round in them. Everything about them is brilliant apart from they seem to have stained? The course wasn't particularly wet and I can only think it is from my feet sweating but I didn't expect this to happen especially considering how much they cost.

Anyone else had something similar happen?

Yeah, I got a pair in the reader opportunity a while back. It's the only downside I can think off, they're really hard to keep looking pristine. When they get wet and then dried it leaves a little tide mark. That said mine lasted 3 years of continual wear through winter and summer before they started to leak a bit across the toes.

I've just taken delivery of a new pair, the gortex version. First round out and the grass had a little dew. Left tide marks cross the toes, even tried to clean with the foam and use the leather cream to no avail. I suppose it's because they're white like yours, think I'll just accept it and move on.

What's the fit like in the Ecco? Tempted by a pair as not finding my Pro SL that comfy

I've found them to as you are. As in I'm usually a 10.5-11 depending on make in golf shoes and the 45 in Ecco fits perfectly. I loved my first bioms so much I bought the equivalent in every day shoes too, they're a 45 too.

im the same, own 2 pairs of golf shoes, a pair of biom trainers and a couple of pairs of normal ecco shoes too

I had 2 pairs of the gore tex version, the older saddle classic, and loved them. Extremely comfortable and long lasting. However now, sadly, I can't justify the inflated prices.
So for now I'm happy with the 2 adidas ones that I have, and both come with a 2 year waterproof warranty

Ive spent £60 on golf shoes over the last 4 years so thought I'd treat myself. I'll still my my nikes in the worst part of winter and with the new ones being gortex even when the leather wears they should still keep the wet out. I think I'll get another 4 years out of these at least. I used to spend £80 on a pair that would last 18-24 months so equates about the same.

I use the Ecco proofing type spray before each round on my Biom hybrids, and whilst I may get some marks like that at th end of a round, they always dry clean and nice. They are without doubt the best golf shoes I have ever owned.

ditto.

It might be the yak leather that causes these stains. my old Bio M in white ive had for 6 years are badly stained, the black, blue and brown ones have been fine. Though i do have some white/blue spiked ones ive yet to wear on the course.

Bought some Ecco Goretex 3/4 walking shoe/boots. They were massively reduced on there site. The are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. As soon as they were on they needed no bedding in.
On the back of that, I will deffo look at getting a pair of Ecco golf shoes for my next pair.

Y'all have convinced me. Pair of Hybrid 2s on the way!
