Just a little heads up, don't want to see anyone get scammed like I have.
I bought a putter from ebay and paid straight away on the 14-04-15, the user had low feedback and wasn't a lot of money and thought that there's always paypal protection if it goes wrong.
After a week I asked for tracking number and was given excuses, after two weeks was told that it was returned to him as address label was missing and he sent a few extras to make up for it. After 2 1/2 weeks have opened case and now have to wait ten days, 5 days gone and they have not responded.
Anyway, have noticed they now have a few more golf items up for sale and at one point the description said bank transfer only but looks like its been removed.
Anyway, its a small world and I know there's a few on here buying on ebay and don't want to see anyone go through this disappointment, beware of Ebay user - brucjame-nfds71

Avoid low feed back sellers!!!! Its your first and best indication of how things may go. Also always worth having a chat with the seller when possible. You can ask questions at the bottom of the page prior to making payment.

As an aside I have sold loads of stuff at great prices on a Facebook page called Golf Clubs Selling Page and so much stuff comes up for sale every day if you like to buy. No fees!!

I am aware of the issues with low feedback but don't mind taking a chance on a lower priced item as you do get paypal protection, it was the only one on ebay worldwide so couldn't be choosy on the seller!
Was more concerned that someone on here might go through same experience as they have a few golf items for sale.

the time process is a bit frustrating but cant see any reason why you wont get a full refund issued by paypal. Asking questions is a good why to establish how the transaction will go, short sharp response or none at all I avoid, helpful friendly chatty answer usually mean a trouble free deal.

You knew you were taking a risk and your concerned that others may do the same. If people take risks knowingly a warning is pointless. Anyone who buys from a poor seller knowingly knows what they are doing...

No problem with low feedback sellers, everyone has to start somewhere.

Agreed. Paypal will refund. You'll be ok.

Yes, I bought a mobile that wasnt as described, despite the seller trying to say I must have broke it or it was damaged in transit. Ebay gave me a full refund

Seller feedback seems to be a rare thing these days, I've sold 4 golf items this year and only had feedback for one, there were no problems with any of the others but the buyers just haven't left feedback, in a way it's quite frustrating

For this I normally send a polite follow up email that says thanks for purchase, hope you enjoy it etc then at the bottom point out that positive feedback has been left for them for this transaction. 100% response rate to that apprimoach so far.

I don't often buy stuff of ebay and when i did i didn't leave any feed back as i didn't know that was the norm. got a snotty email after asking why i hadn't left any.... !!

I was looking at a wedge last week and saw someone stating bank transfer only - stopped me looking any further wonder if it was the same one?

I have just looked at his completed items and there is no wedge in there, he was listing a R11 driver though and claiming it was Sergio Garcias old driver!
