Hi,

I've just purchased some MP32s from ebay. They were described as "brand new". I am new to ebay, but everything about the seller looked legitimate. However, I have subsequently noticed that the seller has purchased a few sets of MP32s from 3ballsgolf. The sets he bought are described as "as new", which means very good, but ultimately are second hand.

What do you think? Have I been sold a second hand set as "new". Just if I knew they were second hand, I'd have rathered pay a little bit more and got a genuinely new set.

Any thoughts? Do I have any recourse? Is there any way to check the clubs' provenance using the serial number? (Thanks in advance to anyone taking the time to furnish me with a response.)

I have noticed a few people on ebay are buying clubs from ebayers in America then selling them on in the UK. Makes sense with the pound being so strong. Suppose they are still classed as new as they have never been used and have simply passed through a middle man.

If they have been used to hit balls, this will be very obvious the moment you look at them. You only need to hit a couple of shots, and there will be marks on the face and sole. If he has them described as new, they should be new.
