Hi all

thanks to all those who applied for the mystery custom-fitting day on June 22nd over in the East Midlands(ish) area.

Congatulations to sev112 and moonpig who have made it through the selection process. Both of them fitted the criteria perfectly.

We tend to pick forum stalwarts for opportunities like this but to freshen it up this time we went with relative newbies which I hope will encourage all those who have recently joined up that we do try to get everyone involved or those who are lurking but not yet registered to get on board!

GM deputy editor Neil Tappin will be emailing the lucky two with further details and I'll look forward to meeting them on the day as I'll be tagging along too - it should be a fantastic experience.

Thanks again to all who applied - I'm sorry you didnt get the nod this time but we will contunue to work with the top manufacturers to get these opportunities for the forum

Very intrigued as to what this is all about. East Midlands does suggest Ping. Must be something very special. Maybe they are re-launchng those two-colour golf balls custom fitted by Gok Wan to match your golf outfits.
