Few of us are looking into booking 2 nights where you get 3 rounds on any of the following courses and was wondering if anyone had played any of the courses and which are the best or ones to avoid.

The courses you can pick from are.

Bridlington GC
Bridlington Links
Filey
Flamborough Head
Hornsea
Scarborough South Cliff

Also if anyone's stopped in the hotel (Revelstoke Hotel) what's it like, is there decent pubs etc nearby?

I quite like Bridlington links but that's more for sentimental reasons, me and my Dad used to play there on holiday. Its not a links course though so don't fall for that, its also a bit rough round the edges as its a muni.

Not played any of the others. Shame Scarborough North Cliff isnt on as that IS a cracking course.

I have never played Scarborough South Cliff, but North Cliff is excellent if you get chance to play it, once you have got over the road after the first couple of holes. I haven't played Hornsea either.
Bridlington is a nice track, very well thought out. the kind of course that makes you think. It's not short but there are a few holes where you can't automatically take driver.
Bridlington Links is a long, championship length course, quite new, with a huge clubhouse. The rough can be tough if you stray from the fairway. the views are excellent, particularly on the back nine.
Flamborough is a very interesting course, very little rough and very sloping greens. if they ever want to toughen the course up, they would just need to shave the greens. it would be almost unplayable. Usually, the greens are very good though and not too fast. in my view, the last hole, a long par 5, let's it down a little, as for me it's just a big slog up a featureless hole, but singling that one hole out is a little unfair as there are some great holes at Flamborough.
I have played Filey less than the others, but always enjoyed my round there. A lovely course in a quiet, traditional seaside town.
One thing I can say is that you will be assured of a warm welcome at all the clubs I have played at over there. you will always get a good meal at the Links and at Flamborough, where they serve a particularly good breakfast.
There are a few good pubs in Flamborough and in the old town in Bridlington.
I would say that there are no courses to avoid. you will enjoy each one and they all offer something different.
Enjoy!

Thanks for that, sounds like they are all pretty good courses then.

Seems a bargain then for 2 nights b&b with 3 rounds for £170 then.
