I'm after new fairway wood and hybrid i hit the ball fairly well but with my fairway woods i do often struggle, Usually 50/50. My current fairway woods are not suited to my game and ability.

I want the easiest fairway wood to hit off the tee and fairway
Any suggestions please
Thanks

It'll depend on what you like the look of.... Something that works off the tee and fairway should have a wide enough face but also sit close to the ground to be able to benefit it off the fairway.... Some manufacturers have 2 types of FW..... A deep face mainly for tee shots or a shallower faced one that is a bit more versatile......

Any of the Ping G series woods should fit your bill......Cobra make fairly forgiving woods as do Callaway...... Titleists are a little smaller headed but still pretty forgiving in my eyes....
If your on a budget Wilson Staff woods and Md make great Fairways that are pretty forgiving as well reading the reviews about them...

As an aside.... People struggle with fairway woods mainly due to poor technique and trying to hit them the same from fairway and tee also.... But to be good at both requires a slight change of technique.....

Virtually anything in the Ping G range should see you right

But I think the 2009 Cleveland Launchers are the best I've ever used.

Maybe look at getting a 4 wood instead of a 3, i had a hallway steelhead 4 wood for years, it was a great club, although a very compact head, it was still useable out of most lies.

it doesn't exist

as already suggested, the best you can do is find something that is a technical match to you and that gives you confidence

it can be argued that one particular club spec will launch higher, for a given loft; equally the sole shape will influence the clubs ability in certain situations on the course, as will the depth of face etc etc - but one best alround for all players simply doesn't exist.

Try a titleist 13.5 fd off the fairway so so easy to hit its almost cheating and if you want to make it even easier adjust it down to 12.5 degree then its easier than a wedge to hit

Why not try the RBZ stage 2 HL 3 Wood. Find it quality of the tee and able to get a good high launch of the deck

If you try and use the driver off the fairway and swing as fast as you can i find that quite easy to hit but always remember to lift your head early is the secret to a good driver off the fairway give it a go next time your in a comp and its sure to work

Most Fairways are fairly easy to use as long as you don't try to swing too fast. I find swinging them at about the same speed as a 7 iron works best.

Nike VR_s 3 wood and hybrids, got them very recently, watch the for sale section, i can't shape the ball with them, aaargh

Basically the replies you get are going to be what that poster uses so you'll never get a decent answer. Spend some money on a lesson in hitting a wood of the deck. Its not the clubs its you.
