Earnest ES14 launch monitor

Has anyone got or tried the latest ES14 launch monitor by any chance and if so how are you finding it, is it helping your game and is it worth getting?

I have the Swingsmart analyser which I find useful and I was thinking of getting the ES14 to use in conjunction with the SwingSmart to give me quite a bit of info?

No experiance of these type of monitor.

I must admit my gut feel questioned the value of these type of devices as the 'big boys' (trackman / GC2 / Flightscope) are able to continue to maintain their dominant market position but I'd be really interested in you experience, particularly if you are able to talk someone into allowing you to do a parallel compasision with one of the main players.

Like your style, would be interesting to see how accurate you find it. There are a lot of calculated measurements so bad shots may also show decent stats provided the ball was hit hard enough.
I tend to draw the ball, the way the ES14 has to be setup would worry me, I could see it in bits after a single range session

I understand it misses a lot of shots and for me no real launch and spin means too much guess work going on. Love to get your view when you have had a play though.

im worried about the J Arthur tbh!!!

Tbh, I use the SwingSmart and I've found that to help me. Now whether they are accurate and worthwhile is dependant on the user. I was having a swing change to produce more lag and the SS helped to show that and along with other parameters.

I thought about using the ES14 along with the SS and blutoothing it to both phone and iPad for the read outs and hopefully make some sense out of my mini launch monitor. I understand there are certain amount of calculations that need to happen but nothing ventured and time will tell.
