well, woke up at 6, was on the course for 7am. i was glad to see that i was the first one up on the tee........had good start (for me!!)1 over on each of the first few holes, hit the 4th, par 3, and hit a 5, start to hit a few more bogeys and doubles. hit the 11th, par 3, hit a 5, normally a +1 for me, then my first (and only) 7 of the day on the par 4, 13th. redeem myself with a par at the next, then bogey all the way back to the 18th.
so, wasnt too bad! playing off 27 and shot 97, with 37 points, so played better than normal!
was aiming for (ambitious) 95, but only 2 off, so hopefully do better next time (2moro morning by the looks of things)
anyway, hope you all have a good day like me!!

jeez have you guys got insomnia or something ??? 8. yea ok, but 6 anything would be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too early for me ? what time you get up at?? , even if you live beside the club youd have to be up say 5.45am, get dressed & out bit of a stretch etc

Up at 05;30 even squeezed in beans on toast! It's what time i get up in the week so no issue for me - nice to be on the 18th green and see a 30 person society about to tee off at half 9

Got to the club at 9.00 today and it was busier than a regular Saturday. It seemed there were a lot of guests. The two in (plus member) in front of us had never heard of calling anyone through. In trouble off every tee and second shots and never an offer or a backwards glance. Stacking up behind like the M25 and they were oblivious. As it happened we would only have got in front of them and not gone anywhere else but as the three in front were decen tplayers at least the round would have kept moving

I think everyone is having extra games THIS weekend. Very busy again today.

I'll try and start really early Monday. Avoid the crowds.
