As we sit here in anticipation and excitement for the first round in what seems ages, what are the elements of the course that you really look forward to playing and why?

Is it the brutally long 600yd par 5, that tricky par 3 over water, the long par 4 with that damn tree in the wrong place? Etc, etc..............

Mine is the elevated tee! Just love standing there seeing the ground fall away and the fairway open up in front of me in all it's glory, giving me all the confidence I need and thinking, "I just can't fail to hit a good one"!

I'm playing up at my old (and GB72's new) haunt on Saturday, so there's a number of things I'm looking forward to;

The dogleg left tee shot at the 1st (good opportunity to try my new hybrid to bend it round the tree)
Ripping my new driver down the par 5 second
Trying to par the par 3 4th. (I hardly ever do)
The 10th
The 13th

Pretty much all of it to be Honest! Really hope we aren't on temps, but won't get my hopes up. Just happy to be out!

I have been lucky enough to continue playing, our course is holding up well, played 18 yesterday and 11 today, greens are a little bobbly but dry, and still better than some i played on last year lol

i was out again today. we havent had much bother. its just really mucky in parts and the ball plugs at every opportunity. im walking around like martin o'niell. football socks and trousers tucked in is the way forward.

I'm looking forward to our 13th, it's my non scoreable hole.. I par'd it end of jan in a comp. it's about 350 but on two fairways, wide stream between the fairways so has to be a 180-200 yard layup.. Not to far though as the big tree is in the way but not to short that the other trees get in the way.. Oh yeah there's also a stream splitting the second fairway and a few bunkers on a raised green...

Mine is my 0842 tee time Sunday, which I've managed to book right in the middle, of what is normaly classed as the un-bookable half an hour.
