Since getting cabin fever during the christmas break, not being able to play due to the weather conditions,I have amassed quite a large amount of unnecessary equipment on e - bay. How much has this weather cost you? I'm probably £200 out of pocket. The Lyle and Scott websit was fun though.

Been having a bit of a clear out in the past month via e.bay so managed to buy my new irons and not be out of pocket.

It's mighty addictive though and ended up searching shed and loft for anything to boost the fund.

Guilty as charged - 1 hybrid, 1 shirt and 2 pairs golf trousers. :o

About £110 I think. To be balanced by unwanted Xmas gifts now on there, hopefully.

Well, not e-bay, but am spending a lot of time in the many golf shops whilst here in Japan. They have so much good stuff here, and very different to back home. Have bought three shirts so far, but the yen/ pound rate is so bad at the moment it makes them very expensive purchases, close to 60 quid each, if you add the flight cost to that........

Also just ordered a Scotty Cameron putter from my pro back home.... did get some of the family to chip in as a crimbo present though so don`t feel too bad about that one.

Only another week to go, not sure how much I can stay out of these shops though.....

it`s new years day, sunk a bottle of very expensive sake laced with flakes of gold (drink them too) by 9 o`clock, then a long walk to local temple for the family traditional visit. Back home stuffing myself full of sushi, beer and other traditional treats such as raw fish eggs whilst waiting for a Ryo Ishikawa golf show to start on TV in 30 mins......... :-).
