Hi came across this site while trying to find the answer to my question.i am new to golf and my word I am hooked lol.
i bought the cheapest clubs I could get to see if I like the game and I love it.i now upgraded to the nz9 range that gets good reviews I have a putter driver and wood.
I now want the irons I have seen 2 sets 7 piece steel iron 5-sw at £65 and one that looks same but 4-pw at£280
the cheaper set is white the other black. Please could someone tell me the differance
Thank you

Can you post links to the two sets please?

Also- what clubs do you have just now?

What's your budget?

I reckon that whatever happens, I (and most of the other forumers) will be recommending a good 2nd hand set!!!

£279 is the new selling price in sports direct and lillywhites for the 7 piece iron set, and current version the ones at £65 eBay used and probs last years version? No sold?

Hello and welcome enjoy its fun and a good find!

I think they updated the model but same name. Think the older had the gecko grip and the newer a lamkin.
But I could be off the mark!

I picked up set of these for my 12 year old son to replace his used ones.I gave them a hit and for the money they seem to not bad overall.
Well worth a punt.

They are I assume last years model because they have the black and green Gecko Tac grip.
I got from 5 to 9 iron brand new via a well known auction site for £21 plus postage.Did not need the pw or sw because he already has his own wedges that he will not change.

Ok cheers for that

For what it's worth I picked up last years hybrid. The one with the white head and gecko tack grip. The grip is decent enough and the club was lovely to hit. At 60 odd quid I don't think you can go wrong.

I picked up a NZ9 Driver and 3 wood hybrid the other day.

£40.00 for the driver. I really like. It's forgiving for me as a high handicapper and seems to go a decent way.

The hybrid was only £15.00 and its genuinely my favorite club ever. Just seemed to click for me, first swing and hit it straight as an arrow down the range sailing over the 200 yard marker. I cant do any wrong with it, consistently straight, good flight and decent length. Worth a punt for any one.

The clubs look very smart too but the head covers are tacky looking but who cares about that or the brand when they work?
