Hi Folks,
Just got back from a week in southwest Scotland. Managed to get out for a couple of games once at Thornhill Golf Club and once at the pines in Dumfries.I was just wondering whether any of you guys are from around this neck of the woods and would fancy a game sometime? i get up there (if im lucky) about once every 4 - 6 weeks and usually go on my own.. would be nice to meet up with anyone next time im up.
Cheers, Andy

Don't wish to offend anyone, but I thought Thornhill was a bit of a field. I had a spectacular slice when I played it and much of the time you just played your second shot from two fairways across.
chipsandegg's choice of The Pines is ok for a pay & play, but my pick in immediate area of Dumfries would be Dumfries & County

I was hoping to play Southerness last week but didnt manage it, i stay up at aplace called Monaive just outside Dumfries. I played Dumfries County for the first time this summer, it was brilliant, i really enjoyed it. There are quite a few great courses around the area, i love going up there
