Who's been and played in Dubai/ United Arab Emirates ???

Iv been thinking about going for a week in January/February time, anyone been then? What's the weather like at this time of year there? What courses/hotels would be good

It has been a few years since I went and it was march time I was there. The weather was pleasantly warm but not too hot. Courses wise I played the faldo course at the Emirates and Dubai creek. Now there are more options. The service was second to none and it was a great experience maybe a little pricey but worth it IMO

Played Abu Dhabia Championship which is a great course, it has 27 holes so you usually play either front or back 9 of championship and the other 9 holes from the old course. Its a great course though and a real eye opener to how the other half live. My brother-in-law is a member of saadiyat and loves it, weather is ok just now but the closer you get to August the warmer it gets. Most of the Emirates leave the country about then as its well into the 50's
