Driving Range in/near Tain

Hi folks,
Does any one know if there are any driving ranges near Tain? I'm staying up there for work for a few days next week and would like to do something to keep me out of the pub
Unfortunately, I can't fit all my clubs in the car so I can't really play a course but at least getting a hit at a ball would be good

There's one at Dornoch round the back of the town somewhere, i think its a trout fishering place as well. All of the clubs have practice grounds where you use your own balls.

If you wanted a game i could sign you on at tain.

Apart from that the only one is in Inverness and thats 35 miles away, which is a bit far just to hit some really shite balls.

I'd love to Patrick but I can't fit my bag in the car. I'm also not sure what time I'll be finishing at the Hosptital so I wouldn't want to organise something then have to cancel at the last minute.

I do appreciate the offer though

I'll have a look at the one in Dornoch and I'll chuck a sleeve of balls into the car and hope that I can blag my way onto someones practice area

The one at Dornoch would be better its well away from the course near the airfield and there are 3 of the old Struie course holes up there as well that are noe part of the practice area.

What car have you got that you can't get a set of clubs in?

I've got an MX5, it's fine for bunging a few clubs in for some range practice but it wont take a bag. Not unless I put the roof down

If I'm doing something golf related I normally take wifey's Clio but as I'm away for work I need to use my car as I'm not insured to use the Clio for work.

Yes thats the driving range, the royal dornoch pratice ground is up the back of the Struie course near the airfield
