Hopefully someone knows the answer as maybe part of their job or a holiday they have booked already, am in the process of booking up a trip to Ireland and suddenly thought, wth happens in Ireland to driving licenses and UK insurance.

I googled a bit and read that I think for Ireland under a No deal we will be covered by the CTA, will read the document in depth later :-

However does anyone know the position of the license and Uk insurance position with regards to travelling to Ireland under the No deal brexit situation?

Thanks in advance

I can't see a problem as long as you notify your insurance company. They may bring back green cards. Driving on the continent wasn't an issue before we had the EU so no reason for it to become one now. As I'm in the process of purchasing a property over there I'll be watching this thread though.
