So I thought I'd try my driver out against some new ones, tried a few and came away impressed with the SLDR,But at 300 bangers is it worth it? Maybe a bit much for me,so I was walking past the demo driver rack and came across the cleveland classic xl custom with a Miyazaki jdl shaft, wow what a driver this is,lovely deep face penetrating flight and a lovely feel off the face. On sale for 99 pounds, come payday I know where my cash is going!

I have the Miyazaki JDL shaft in my R1 and it is superb.

I've had both the Classic XL and the SLDR - great drivers both of them but the prices on eth Celeveland stuff lately has made them amazing value for money.

Benross new speed 2 range, seriously good bits of kit, real deal shafts and 149 notes new. I have one in my bag now!

12* I believe? What was that about? Is this a forward weighted driver?

I tried the Benross today as well,nice club but 10 yards behind the SLDR

Yup it is a 12 deg regular shaft!! bloomin works though!!

10 yards diff shewy, hmm was dispersion similar or worse etc? half the price, thats all im saying!

But the cleveland was 99! Being picked up in the morning and straight into battle 9;40 tee time.
I had to go with the 10 degree Benross as the 12 was launching at 21 deg lol,the slider got it down to 17 and 2000rpm backspin.210 carry 225 overall,90mph swing,the cleveland was 15 launch and 2400 rpm and 215 carry

10yrds shorter but £££ cheaper ! just hit the irons a bit further :thup:

Have you entered another comp?who ever recommends Benross the most wins a ball marker or something? Ha.
They are really good value clubs tho. My mate recently got some & bangs on about them nearly as much as you,maybe he's entered the comp

Cleveland 265 Black.
12* loft .
This replaces my 15* Launcher I have had about 7 years.
Both good clubs but the Black gives me slightly better dispersion and a lower flight ,thus more run out.
