Driver

Hi there,

I am currently looking to buy a new driver as i feel my current driver (Jack Nicklaus Q4) isn't really pushing my game. Since i have only ever had this one driver for 4 years i don't know what make of driver would suit me. I currently play of 8 and have the tendency to push the ball. I also prefer to have a stiff shaft and above 9 degrees loft.

Can anyone help me?

if you play off 8 you would definitely benefit from getting fitted for the shaft - head shape and manufacturer are going to be a matter of personal preference; most manufacturers produce excellent drivers nowadays.

We wont know by reading your post but a club fitter should when he sees the results of your shots.

Go for a fitting. You might even benefit from something less/more stiff than what you have. Also, the shaft in your Q4 could well be less good than some newer premium shafts.
