So I am wanting to upgrade from my current stock shaft in my Nike Vapor Pro Driver.
Its currently a Diamana 60g Stiff shaft. Iv done a lot of research and I have significantly increased my swing speed and I know I am striking the ball better. Only problem is my drivers are just now launching so high they come down with snow on them and they also drift left and I get little run on them.
I want a lower launching stiffer shaft and I want to get fitted for it as I am now to the 'shaft' world.
How would a driver shaft fitting work. Do they put the different shaft in my current driver or would I have to hit another nike Vapor pro and they replace the shafts in that? They wouldnt make me hit say a SLDR and then change the shafts in that would they?
I know this seems a bit of a novice question and perhaps a bit obvious. Only reason im asking is because people buy the shaft when they get fitted for their driver. I have the driver (5 months) but now want to change the shaft.
Thanks
Also any recommendations for a 60g X-stiff shaft that has low launch would be great.
