So I am wanting to upgrade from my current stock shaft in my Nike Vapor Pro Driver.
Its currently a Diamana 60g Stiff shaft. Iv done a lot of research and I have significantly increased my swing speed and I know I am striking the ball better. Only problem is my drivers are just now launching so high they come down with snow on them and they also drift left and I get little run on them.

I want a lower launching stiffer shaft and I want to get fitted for it as I am now to the 'shaft' world.
How would a driver shaft fitting work. Do they put the different shaft in my current driver or would I have to hit another nike Vapor pro and they replace the shafts in that? They wouldnt make me hit say a SLDR and then change the shafts in that would they?

I know this seems a bit of a novice question and perhaps a bit obvious. Only reason im asking is because people buy the shaft when they get fitted for their driver. I have the driver (5 months) but now want to change the shaft.

Thanks

Also any recommendations for a 60g X-stiff shaft that has low launch would be great.

If the flight is all that high it is not only a shaft issue, there is probably an angle of attack issue too. The Diamana Blueboard is a good shaft, though, even in a version made for Nike. If you want to quickly scan shafts look at the Titleist driver shot matrix in their custom catalogue. Don't dismiss the idea of using a slightly heavier shaft either.

I had a similar issue with my old 913, went from the px 6.0 to a miyazaki kua x-flex and boy did it work, must have dropped the flight by 30ft and runs like stink, trouble was it seemed like too much hard work for me to get the best from it.

Link above may help choose a potential candidate.

p.s what is your S.S with the big dog ?

thanks for this
SS is 107mph when i do my normal swing on course.

I had similar issues to yourself, but got the Rogue Silver 60X in my 915 and its brought it my flight way down! Could get the shaft from eBay with a titleist/callaway adapter and change it to a Nike one. Best shaft I've ever tried
