Driver Fitting tomorrow morning....

Trying to put myself in the mind set here lol...

Last time i had i fitting it turned into a murdering session with me trying to bust every club put in my hand. Resulting in me sweating like a pig and needing a good shower afterwards lol...

I do the same at the driving range start off hitting it nice and smooth but start pushing for a few more yards and then it my nice draw shape drive disapears and i start coming across the ball a little and as i result it turns into a small slice.. And i dont want this to happen tomorrow...

Maybe i will get the mate to come with me and once he sees me starting to speed up my swing get him to say to me before i start trying to kill everything and then end up getting fitted with a draw driver lol..

and finally anyone recommend a nice driver for me brand wise?? I am a PING fan but if something gives me more yards than the PING G15

I've got a nice secodhand G5 that's giving me more distance than any Driver I've ever hit!

Know what you mean about the range, about pushing it too much and ending up sweating buckets, (but then that's the whole point of my visits there these days!)

Dont listen to them all. You go and get your shiney new G15 driver. It's brilliant. Much better than the G5. Straighter and longer than the G5 and better looking.
You wont regret getting the G15
If you want a new magic wand, the G15 is for you.

Don't worry Hendy, I've got a g15 with stiff shaft off the shelf and while I'm not hitting it any further, I do seem to be straighter.
I have to say though, I don't get why some people get fitted when their swing isn't ideal as all they are doing is getting a club made for a specific swing. As soon as you have a lesson or tweak or even get out of bed, it isn't fitted anymore.
I think of it like remapping a car, short term gain maybe, but change anything and it's not such a benefit any more.

@ Bob the bling is just to much for me "put it away" !!! lol

@ brendy, I have been working alot on my rhythm this year.. so i feel i dont have the same club head speed as i did have and want just want fitted to see if for example should i be using a 9deg or a 10.5, reg flex or stiff felx... that kind of thing.. not looking a custom one of shaft thats the price of the club just something to cover the basics.
