Hi there

I have registered to play in this competition.

http://www.countydowngolf.com/the-down-summer-trophy/

The first 2 days will be played at St patricks and Ardglass with the top 150 (out of 198) playing their third round on the Championship Links at Royal County Down while the remainder play on the Annesley Links.

I'm wondering if anyone else has played in this or would have any idea what score would be needed to make the top 150 after 2 days?? I was thinking about 50 points??

Thanks

J

Why not save yourself the hassle and just stump up the £180 to play RCD:)

I believe Drive4Show has played in this, and no doubt he will be along shortly.

I've thought about this but it hasn't fallen on good dates for me yet.

Well worth the gamble of making the RCD round though. Isn't it about £150 for all 3 rounds?

I remember a while ago looking at previous year's results. That should give a good idea of what's required to get through to the last day.

I couldn't find detailed results for previous years. Just top 3 for each day.

Seems decent value, includes 3 rounds and a gala dinner on the Friday.

And here I am :D

Yep, played in this. I qualified quite comfortably with a couple of average rounds, can't remember the numbers but something like a couple of 30 pointers although it was VERY windy. It was very different numbers though, think about 40 people qualified out of about 120ish.

Well worth playing in, we played Kirkistown and Ardglass before the final day at RCD.
