Took my St George flag down earlier with young Bradley Tash.
i said to him you have to say "God save the Queen" when you take the flag down. He looks at me then the flag and shouts
" Dog save the Queen ".

Being half deaf I only just heard what he said the first time so I said you have to say it so the flag can hear you which was still raised. He said it louder and the neighbours who were out on the back garden were laughing.

About two hours later next doors ma in law had pulled up in the car and was leaving 10 minutes later as I was messing about in the garage. I was telling her the story and she said daughter had told her the story as they were listening. I told her what he had actually said. She had tears on her cheeks.

little so and so has pulled my baby flowers out of the Belfast sink saying they are weeds. Coz there not as big as his " Jack in the beanstalk" runner beans.

I know ave bored everyone on here about Missis T not being 100%, but he has been better than any tablets Missis T has taken bless him.

Reminds me when my children were young and we decide to take them out for a drive on a nice summers day. We all got into the car and Mrs Socket and I asked them where they would like to go.

My son replied "Farties"
We asked where that was and our Daughter said "You know that place we go, Farties"
Looking confused we asked them where 'Farties' was?
They then started getting annoyed saying "You know Farties, we always go to Farties in the car"

Looking at each other a bit amused and confused we tried to think where they were talking about.

All of a sudden it came to me what they were on about. Often when we went out together they would ask me "Where are we going Dad' and I would say "There and back again to see how FAR IT IS"
