No this is not an advert for PPI misselling or Injury lawyers.... But do you suffer from over-adjustment syndrome (OAS)
During a round, I will realise that if I make a tiny adjustment in stance, grip, alignment I get a better result. So I will try it again later in the round but with little more of it, I will get better results.. soon I end up a very exaggerated adjustment and it will start getting me in a bad place. For example: few weeks ago, I had a little bit of extra weight on the right and was tilting my spine a bit - result I was bombing my drivers. After about 3 weeks, my tilt was so bad that I was topping the drive as I was starting to miss the ball!!! So the driver went into the sin bin for 2 weeks.
This weekend, finally pulled my driver out and went back to my original stance - result I can hit the driver again!! HAPPY DAYS.
I can see i have a pattern here, as most of my issues have been from over adjusting. The moment I reset and go back to my natural/neutral game the bats start playing again.
Does anyone else suffer from this??
ps: I named it OAS, but I could also call it the Alistair Cook Syndrome or something...
