with the cold weather truly upon us now ,do any of you carry a hip flask onto the course for a little warmer on the way round. ?
i had a mate who always had one filled with spiced rum ,and it was a really nice rum as well. . a swig from the flask a couple of times on the round helped warm the insides nicely .
what about you lot .do you carry one ,and if you did ,what would be your tipple of choice?

Given alcohol cools you, how about hot lemon with honey and water..

I have lemon trees in the garden and its my own brand of energy drink

A wee drambuie or Fraisers whisky

I used to but times and attitudes change. Once upon a time a flask would last a couple of weeks. Recent years, even with the guys I used to play with, saw that change quite a bit. Gave up a few years ago.

not very often, as i have to drive most of the time. I will however have one on the 14th our Christmas bash. Port and Brandy will be in that

No. Not a lover of spirits. I use to play with a guy in a regular Sunday fourball that would stop at the ninth and get out a flask of coffee (and usually some cake made by his wife) and give the rest of us a cup and a slice. We'd always enjoy it and usually let the group behind through. Granted he wasn't good enough to clear the ravine and would always blob the hole and usually go ahead and set everything up but time we'd holed out and stopped, it did create a delay so only right and proper.
