Do you alter your bag set up?

I was wondering if there was anyone else on here that changes the set up if their bag depending on what type of course they play? I alternate between both a 5-wood and a 2i depending on the course and where I am playing, i don't lose much yardage with the change in the bag, but the 2i has a lower ball flight in windier conditions.

Anyone else do something similar?

Nope.

Same set-up regardless of where I play.

If im playing a short course I will take out my driver and my 6 iron and play
from a 7 to pw and use my 3 wood for driving.
I hardly ever have 14 clubs because ive sold my 5 wood and 22 degree rescue.
I would also change the number of clubs I carry as apposed to if I use my trolley.

I sometimes put my fairway woods on the naughty step...but they are usually quickly forgiven!

I do the 5w - 2i swap too. Though now I have a 3i I don't think I'll be doing it as much.
The main reason I swap is I prefer the 2i for tee shots and the 5w from the deck. Happy with the 3i for either so I think the 5w - 3i set up gives me more options.

I'm forever swapping drivers between a covert tour 2 and a ping g25, and putters between an anser style and a mallet - that's just based on whatever I fancy on the day so don't think it's really relevant to your question.

wont take a gap wedge anywhere near a links ever again. waste of a club. exact yardages mean nothing out there! its all about touch and trajectory to control the ball. Id rather have a long iron that I can shunt up the fairway nice and low! it doesn't even need to be hit that well to get a result!

I'm always swapping my bag around. As I like to carry (more often than not) I only use 9 or 10 clubs.
The 6-SW always stays in, but I mess around with different combinations of long irons, hybrids and fairways.

Sometimes take the driver out if its a tight course.

The only clubs I alternate are the 4 Hybrid and 4 Iron depending on conditions.
