Do Ping charge for custom fitting at Gainsborough?

Planning on reviewing the top end of my bag this summer and thinking about going to Gainsborough. Trying to figure out the finances and wasn't sure whether Ping charged for a custom fit or whether its deducted off any clubs you buy? I know TM and Titleist charge but wasn't sure about Ping.

They have not in the past but when my mate when last year they were talking about introducing a £50 fee. May be the ideal chance to combine your fitting with a trip to Belton

I paid £30 last summer. I think this was taken off of any purchase.

You have to book through your local pro and there was about a two week waiting.

You will enjoy the experience!

As it goes Tiger I spoke to someone last week about it. Book through your local pro, they charge you £30 for the fitting and at this time of year there is a 2 week wait, later in the year it can get up to 6 weeks apparently. The £30 isn't refunded or knocked off your clubs but I do know that Nevada Bobs in Colchester will knock it off the sticks as a good will gesture.

tbh, £30 isn't too bad, I'm waiting til my handicap drops a little furter. once i get down to 18 my treat to myself will be a new set of cutom fitted clubs

I believe they do charge unless you can prove you get a heating allowance, then it's free.

It's not even in my pocket yet and it's burning a hole. Kitchen fit due for mid April so hopefully then 8'll know if there is enough left over for new sticks.
