Diswasher/Washing Machine Costs

Know this is a bit vague but has anyone any idea how much it cost for a normal dishwasher or Washing Machine run.

Just had my lasted lecky bill and was staggered at the amount. Think I need to get the Mrs using her hands a bit more!

Many suppliers will give you one of those monitors free of charge which will tell you the overall electricity cost at any time. You can then just run the dishwasher/washing machine and not turn anything else on or off which will give you a good idea of the electricity costs.

I read about 15p for the electricity. You wouldn't catch me washing up for 15p!!

does the washine machine also dry or do you use a tumble dryer? they cost more than the product itself to run.............well it feels like it

Tumble dryers are EXPENSIVE. Big time. 50p+ a go!
