now I am not one for making excuses as if I am crap then I am more than man enough to admit it. Anyhow been off work the last few days as been feeling nauseous, dizzy, very woozy and generally crap, also not sleeping well at all. Turns out I have an inner ear infection causing all the above.

Now this started Friday night so sort of explains why on Sunday I just could not hit a clean ball all 18 holes, now I expect to be crap off 28 but it really was as if I had no bodily co-ordination whatsoever and shot my worst score for 8 months by a considerable way in flat calm conditions.

Anyhow thats has renewed my confidence that it wasnt my fault so hopefully if cleared up normal advancements will be resumed on Sunday

thats my excuse and I am sticking to it :)

(I just need one for next week now)

It is something that I have found through all my sport. Play crap and cant figure out why and a day later come down with the lurgey.

G1bbo, would you believe that I am booked in to see the doctor for exactly the same thing tomorrow am. I had to go home early yesterday as my head was spinning, score on saturday/sunday wasnt great neither, has been bothering me for a few weeks and finally decidd enough is enough. most of my side of thefamily were diabetics and is surely only a matter of time before I and my two brothers get a touch of it too so might as well get tested while I am in.

I'm down the docs tomorrow too then, had 6 pints of Stella on Saturday night and felt really dizzy.........must have been an ear infection, or an out of date packet of nuts.

pfffft, theres always 1 (or 2).

Brendy I wasn't feeling right since about Thursday, Friday I was a tad hungover so put it down to that.

The nausea is subsiding after 1 day of tablets so hopefully be right in another day or 2, hope so as got a pairs comp Sunday and been put with an 8 h/c so dont want to let him down (anymore than I already will)

I'm not surprised you couldn't play if you had an ear infection. Nasty things. Hope it gets sorted soon and that the tablets kick in quickly enough for this weekend to be less painful (in all senses) for you
