Just went to pick my bag up this morning as going to the range lunchtime and noticed that my 48* Vokey is missing.

Not in the boot of the car.

Would appear that it has been lifted at the driving range by one of the dozen little toerags who were there Monday.

Should have been more security conscious as 2 of them were pulling clubs out of my bag and admiring them on monday, I just told them to leave alone politely. Perhaps they nicked the 1st club they could grab as they walked off the range and past me.

Chuffed right off now.

100% didnt leave it as I did a full search of the range-bay as I always do to ensure I havent dropped my phone/keys/wallet/watch etc and there was nothing left behind.

I thought my sandwedge had been nicked, a month after I bought a new one the wife found it down the back of the bed of our 5 year old (bless him.... ).

A long shot but do you have any nosey toddlers about that could have "borrowed" it?

Jon, I thought you were the king of your manor. This aint the 1st time you have been robbed as I can remember your full bag got snatched off the drive and something untoward happened to your driver ...... You need some protection my man.

Andy, the thieving little gits are uncontrollable at the moment.

Recently we had someone jump our spiked fence, smash a window to get to the bonnet release on a car and steal a £19.95 battery.

TBH I think this time it was just the local ragamuffins grabbing what they could quickly.

Atleast the guy who thieved my bag from my drive got caught.

This is the downside to living in chatham, if it isnt nailed down it will get nicked by certain people, thats the way it is sadly.

Atleast no-one touches my car, unlike most on the estate.

Nightmare Jon, I have just been having words with our hon sec as the inner locker door is always left open and day golfers in the bar can go to the toilet and walk right out the door (front locker room door out of sight of bar windows) with any clubs left not in the locker (usually mine if I am not taking them home), fell on deaf ears.

I and HID have been off this week and played most days together and the amount of scummers about is unreal due to the holidays, it shows, I scored a 49 on 9 holes when busy and a 39 when average!!

It must be a Vokey thing! I got both my Vokeys nicked from a local club a few years back, left my clubs at the bag rack inside the clubhouse, went for a pint and noticed two days later on the first that both of my Vokeys were missing, never to be seen again.

I wasnae best please to say the least, although it was a source of amusement to my mates who took great sadistic delight in my loss!!!!!

You should have seen their reaction when I went into a greenside bunker later on during that round!!!!!!!!
