Direct golf 20% off what is the point!

Nearly every retailer is the same, no such thing as a free lunch and all that. When was the last time you walked into sports direct and saw the ticket on the shirt you want stating "was £80, 50% off, now £40" and thought to yourself, aye right when was that shirt ever £80.

Marketing ploys,

THE DG deals always look good but you lose the multibuy discounts etc so they always come out the same..!

I didnt know SD sold something for £40. Must be quality. Only stuff ive seen is like £3 for 10 polo shirts. AG and DG are a joke and their staff are too.

That's why I like www.golfsupport.com because what you see is what you get. Find it cheaper and they will beat the price. had some orders off clubhousegolf who are usually alright but my last order was a nightmare. Golfsupport really provided a proper service. They make you feel very welcome instore and online. will not be buying anywhere else regardless of these 'SALES'.

I was up with my old man at our local DG today cause he had vouchers and wanted some new shoes.

Ended up with the Nike Lunars and they came with 3 pairs of Nike socks for free....... He questioned this at the counter as they didn't put any in the bag and they are only free if you pay the Manufactures recommended retail price which was about £120! Nowhere charges the MRRP for any products anywhere as far as I'm aware, so the offer is completely pointless.

You have to be selective when you shop at DG, last year I bought a Adams set of irons and a cart bag and because I had been watching the price for some time I knew when they had a 10per cent deal off everything I was getting a good deal. But keep an eye on prices elsewhere and ask them to price match. If you don't ask you don't get !!

Been looking at a Motocaddy S3 pro trolley for a couple of months, but was having trouble justifying the expense. Got 20% off just before Christmas at DG, with free delivery. Save about £90. I would say bargain, but it is still a bit of an extravagance.
