Ok folks, apologies if this has been covered before...
Short short version...does anyone use a different grip depending on what club they're hitting?
I changed my grip from baseball to vardon/overlap recently and after a while it's giving me the results I was after...in my irons only (things have improved no end).
Problem is my driver/3 wood...traditionally the strongest part of my game, has now gone to pot with the new grip. Played this afternoon and after several disappointments with the big stick I decided to hit my driver with my previous baseball grip on the last 4 holes. And what do you know? Far better results, like night & day!
I've heard plenty of people say "do whatever works best for you!" etc but should I really be changing grips between clubs?
Cheers in advance for any responses.
