Hello bought myself a golf buddy voice plus works very well no hassle and easy
On the 15th i decided to use the shot measure feature, Hit a 5 wood and totally crushed it,
Got to my ball pressed the button to show the distance of the shot and it showed 248 yards, the tee box is about 3 feet higher then the fairway but still 248 yards with a 5 wood

I wouldn't have believed it but the GPS works very well and is accurate, anyone else ever has on of those shots they just couldn't believe but happened?

I hit a 4 wood (from the tee) into a 289 yard par 4 yesterday. Missed the green left, pin high behind a bunker.

Ive found the shot measuring on GPS to be erratic and sometimes inaccurate. I only ever trust my laser now after a few bad experiences. Although 248 is entirely reasonable with a wood.

I had similar yesterday slight down hill down gentle breeze but measured 4 wood 278yards OMG some hard running fairways at last although still a touch short of Gareth's 289.... Must try harder! :lol:

Pah, i hit a pitching wedge 195 yards the other week, was with a 60mph tail wind though

I normally have the opposite result.
I think I have absolutely creamed my driver and measure the distance to find it is my usual pathetic girly 170 yards.

I *can*get 300 yards out of my 5wood,but only if I hit it twice.

I hit my 5w 250y last week. 2nd shot on a par 5, measured with a laser. (downhill) Missed the eagle putt, but won the hole ;-) Wasn't expecting it to make it, but needed the height to get over some water!

Just worked out that i hit my 3 hybrid only approximately 10 yards shorter than my driver on the par 5 2nd on friday? :?

My friends golf buddy said I was 260 from the from of the green, I grabbed the 3w knowing I have never hit it further than 230 w/ roll hit it over rough list sight of it, found it in a bunker level with the pin to the left so yes I belive what you done is possible
