Disappointingly, a day off from golf today after failing to make the cut @ The Logan Trophy. After 10!!! Yes TEN!!!!!! 3 putts over 36 holes, I missed the chop by 3 last night. :(

I know where my practice will be headed over next weekend!!!

My first EGU event, great feel to the tournament, well run and marshalled. Well worth playing in and look forward to next year @ Worksop.

I'll let Drive4show tell you about is tin cup moment if he wishes to share - I'm blaming that dodgy curry Gordon!!!! ;) We are on for Queenwood 1st two weeks in August though!!!!! :)
 
240 carry over water into a par 5 green with the ball below my feet. With the score I had going only a fool wouldn't have taken it on. 3 balls in the water later and my tournament was over. Hey ho, there is always next year.

Looking forward to Queenwood, should be a great experience :)
 
Ah well, there's always next year and an experience you can learn from which is invaluable. I'm jealous you even get to play in these things
 
Sliced my opening tee shot into some tree's and never recovered.

Was just one of those rounds when absolutely nothing comes off. It's giving me the shudders even thinking back to some of my shots.

My only highlight was a great shot into the 18th with a 7 iron. Even then I still missed the putt.

Went straight into the pro shop and put my name down for next week.
 
Yeah it was a bit of fun, score was pants so thought I would stand there and just keep hitting balls until I cleared the water. Would have been a straight forward shot if my stance had been flat but I was on the side of a mound so the ball was 6 inches below my feet. I was down to my last ball when I finally made the shot....now that's pressure!! :D
