Following on from my purchase of Dragon Dictate ( http://forums.golf-monthly.co.uk/showthread.php?79592-Voice-recognition-software ) I am looking at using a dictaphone to record notes and then transfer to the laptop to save.

Anyone regular users of a dictaphone here that could point me in the right direction.

Found this one...

Ended up going for this... http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4368511.htm

Can't believe how good the Dragon product is. Finally settled on Dragon 13 Premium.

Was able to get a significant discount too. Had a play around on a typing speed site...

I came out at 37 words a minute lol so about 400 per 10 minutes.

On Dragon I dictated a piece for 10 minutes, as a voice recognition training section, and when I transcribed it it had over 1300 words completed. While I understand it will never be 100% and may take some time to get familiar with all the voice commands I can see how this will save me hours of work in front of a keyboard which can only be a bonus. :D

Great value for money.
