Dibden golf course, man injured.

Just having a quick perusal on the BBC news site and come across a story where a golf course employee was on a ride on mower and a tree has blown over onto him, causing life threatening injuries. Says his next of kin have been informed. Hope the poor sod is ok.
Ironically played our back nine in a comp today and it seems to be that nine that catches most of the wind. Walking from our 17th to the 18th tee, you go through some trees that are a couple of hundred years old. The noise of some of the branches breaking off was a bit unnerving.
I mentioned to a PP that it is not a good time for it to be blowing with the wet ground and full trees.

That's bad news about the employee. Hope he makes as full a recovery as possible

Loads of sirens heading down that way yesterday, i assumed it was a big rtc on the main road but obviously not, apparently the air ambulance was used as well. Fingers crossed for the guy.
